The equipment of the Laboratory is shared openly with Students for appropriate use. As a safety mechanism for both the Student and the maintenance of the Laboratory, certain classes must be completed to gain full access to specific equipment, chemical elements, and related materials. These classes exist to minimize risk, and safety equipment is supplied by the Academy to protect users of the Laboratory and assist in responding to emergencies.
